The Royal Netherlands Air Force expects to launch its first satellite in the second quarter of 2019. Air Force commander Lieutenant General Dennis Luyt has signed a contract with the Delft-based company ISIS, the National Aerospace Laboratory and Delft University of Technology. The satellite in question is known as a nanosatellite.
