Until the end of June, around 100 Dutch military personnel are providing support for the smooth transportation of a US helicopter brigade to Germany via the Port of Rotterdam.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Stef Blok has visited Dutch military personnel in Afghanistan. He was informed about the NATO mission Resolute Support, to which the Netherlands has contributed around 100 military personnel.

International laws apply to cyber too

“We have to steer the cyber domain, before it steers us,” argued Minister of Defence Ank Bijleveld-Schouten at the international law symposium organised by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defence. “The world will not be better off if we allow the cyber domain to spiral out of control,” she continued. “Digital technology may be moving at a dazzling speed, but that does not mean that it should fall outside the scope of international law.”
