On the basis of advice received from the manufacturer, the Ministry of Defence has issued a road ban for Boxer armoured vehicles with immediate effect. There are a number of problems with the locking mechanism on the top hatch. Defence is currently working on an interim solution in consultation with the manufacturer.

Last week, Minister of Defence Ank Bijleveld-Schouten and her German counterpart Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Berlin regarding cooperation in the field of radio signals detection.

That is the main conclusion of Jori Kolkman, who carries out academic research at the Faculty of Military Science. Kolkman obtained his doctorate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam for his paper entitled “Focus on the front line. Civil-military collaboration in domestic and European crisis management.”
