Bijleveld calls to strengthen NATO and the EU for the security of Europe
Europe must take greater responsibility for its own security. Netherlands Minister of Defence Ank Bijleveld-Schouten once again cited this often-repeated position.
She commented that as far as she is concerned, action is required from both NATO and the EU, and that the moment has come to make their ambitions concrete.
She made these statements in Zagreb, at the 2-day informal meeting between the Foreign Affairs Council and the Ministers of Defence.
