Netherlands will postpone Invictus Games for another year
The board of the Foundation for Freedom was unanimous in its decision to postpone the Invictus Games for another year. Because of the coronavirus, there is too much uncertainty with regard to what is and what is not possible, also for an alternative programme.
80 additional military personnel ready for Afghanistan
The Netherlands Minister of Defence Ank Bijleveld-Schouten informed Parliament that the Netherlands is keeping 80 additional military personnel in reserve for the mission in North Afghanistan. They can assist if the safety of own troops and NATO Allies deteriorates.
