The air force detachment from Volkel Air Base that was taking part with F-16s in a major NATO exercise in southern Portugal has returned earlier than planned because of COVID-19 infections in the unit.
Canada, Norway and US in EU-project for military mobility
Canada, Norway and the United States are joining the Netherlands-led EU military mobility project. This was decided at a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council of Defence Ministers in Brussels. It is the first time that non-EU countries have joined a project in the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) pact.
