A Royal Netherlands Air Force KDC-10 has delivered medical supplies to India. The items, supplied by Luxembourg, are urgently needed for the treatment of coronavirus patients.
Military personnel likely to return from Afghanistan in July
Military personnel serving in Afghanistan in the NATO mission Resolute Support are likely to be back in the Netherlands by July at the latest. The dismantling of the international mission started on 1 May and, according to NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, will be completed within a few months.
Navy resumes hunt for drugs in the Caribbean
The patrol ship HNLMS Holland has left Den Helder for the Caribbean. This means that in a few months’ time the NL MoD will once again have a guard ship in the area.
