Amphibious training of Ukrainian military personnel in UK completed.
Almost 1,000 Ukrainian marines are returning home from the UK after intensive amphibious training during a 6-month programme supported by international partners, including British and Dutch marines.
The Ukrainian marines will now use this knowledge and experience in their fight against Russian occupation.
The amphibious training was an addition to Operation Interflex, in which Ukrainian personnel receive 5 weeks of military basic training by international partners. Since its start in July last year, the Netherlands has been contributing to Operation Interflex with around 90 instructors of the Royal Netherlands Army and the Marine Corps.
