NATO takes next step to strengthen deterrence
The Netherlands and NATO allies are determined to continue supporting Ukraine, with as much as it takes, and as long as it takes, to defeat Russia. At the same time, in 30 years NATO has never been as united as it is today.
Structural additional investment and increased cooperation will remain necessary over the coming years to strengthen the alliance. This was the core message of outgoing Netherlands Minister of Defence Kajsa Ollongren at the meeting of NATO ministers of defence in Brussels last week.
