The Defence organisation provides IT services to national government organisations

The Defence organisation provides services in the area of information management, IT and documental information to other government bodies. Joint IT Command (JITC) is responsible for this task.

Joint IT Command within the government

The JITC provides IT management services to the Ministry of General Affairs and to the Immigration and Naturalisation Service, for instance. In addition, it provides internet services and all carrier services to the C2000 communication network of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The JITC works on the principle that knowledge, experience, resources and ideas should be shared between national government organisations. Their goal is also to handle the tax payer’s money as economically and efficiently as possible.

Do you want to work with the JITC?

Your government organisation possibly provides services that may be of interest to the JITC. For instance, you may not be making optimum use of your scanning equipment, or your organisation has developed an application that could be used at other ministries. ‘Insourcing’ within the government bodies is a possibility. The JITC is open to ideas and options for joining forces. Please contact the JITC if you want to share your ideas.

If you have questions about general terms and conditions and about the procurement processes, please contact the Head of the Purchase Office at phone number: +31 (0)30 218 45 50.
