- Sector A delimits the area west of Aruba.
- Sector B delimits the area south of Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire.
- Sector C delimits the area east of Bonaire.
- Sector D delimits the border south of Saba and Sint Eustatius and the Venezuelan island of Aves.
The maritime boundary with France is laid down in a treaty as well. This is a maritime boundary at both the west and the east side of the island of Sint Maarten (NL) / Saint Martin (FR). The eastern boundary is also the boundary with French Saint Barthélemy.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands also shares maritime boundaries with states that have not yet been officially laid down. These are:
- United Kingdom (Anguilla).
- United States (American Virgin Islands).
- Saint Kitts and Nevis.
- Dominican Republic (northern boundary of Aruba and Curaçao).
