Hydrography

The Hydrographic Service of the Royal Netherlands Navy informs mariners about shipping channels, the seabed and underwater hazards such as shipwrecks. In order to be able to inform them, the Hydrographic Service produces nautical charts and products, and issues Notices to Mariners. The Hydrographic Service thus contributes to the protection of Dutch interests at sea and to safe shipping routes.
