Minehunters reinforce patrols following damage to undersea cables
NATO’s SNMCMG1 fleet is intensifying its patrols in the Baltic Sea. This measure was taken because 2 undersea cables between Estonia and Sweden have been damaged.

The Netherlands has sent HNLMS Vlaardingen to join the minehunter squadron.

Defence continues to train Ukrainian military personnel in Operation Interflex

The Netherlands is continuing its ongoing support to the training of Ukrainian military personnel. In this context, the Defence organisation is maintaining its contribution to Operation Interflex in the United Kingdom. The outgoing Minister of Defence Kajsa Ollongren informed the House of Representatives accordingly last week.
