The Military Aviation Authority – the Netherlands (MAA-NLD) is an independent supervisory organisation that promotes military aviation safety by issuing military aviation safety requirements, publishing these as requirements or regulations, and monitoring compliance with them.
The MAA-NLD works according to the Total Aviation System concept. This implies that the MAA-NLD monitors the airworthiness of military aircraft, military operations, military controlled airspace and military aerodromes.
