Forensic investigation team home after investigation in Ukraine
The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee’s forensic investigation team has returned from Ukraine. Over the past few weeks, the team, numbering approximately 60 members, carried out investigations into alleged war crimes in the country.
It was the third time that a forensic investigation team has been active in Ukraine. The investigative activities were undertaken at Ukraine’s request. On this occasion, 9 Czech experts were also part of the team.
