Last week, the Royal Netherlands Navy escorted 6 Russian ships in the North Sea. The 3 naval vessels and 3 civilian vessels are part of a task group en route from the Mediterranean to a Russian port.

Tracked vehicles for medical evacuation destined for Ukraine
The Netherlands is donating 25 YPR armoured tracked vehicles for medical evacuation to Ukraine. This was announced by Netherlands Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans during a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group, in which over 50 countries take part to coordinate military support to Ukraine.
Netherlands Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans meets new American counterpart in Brussels
Minister Brekelmans attended the meeting of NATO defence ministers in Brussels last week, where he met his new American counterpart, Pete Hegseth. During the meeting, Brekelmans also signed declarations of intent with counterparts on areas including air defence.
