The two naval officers who took part in reconnaissance in Greenland in preparation for a joint NATO military exercise in the Arctic have completed their work. The reconnaissance mission was carried out by a number of allies under Danish command.
State Secretary Tuinman in South Korea and Japan: “We must hold on to each other”
State Secretary for Defence Gijs Tuinman recently visited South Korea and Japan to share experiences, for instance in the field of digitalisation. He also explored how the two nations can strengthen each other. The visit marked a step towards possible further cooperation.
Navy closely monitors Russian vessels in the North Sea
For the second time within a short period, the Royal Netherlands Navy has escorted Russian vessels passing the Netherlands on the North Sea. Patrol vessel DSS Galatea escorted the tanker General Skobolev and the Steregushchiy-class frigate Boikiy.
