F-35s of the Royal Netherlands Air and Space Force are on standby again in the context of the Quick Reaction Alert task. The Dutch fighter aircraft will be guarding the airspace of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg over the coming period. The Netherlands and Belgium take on this duty alternately.
Dutch and Colombian marines train in the jungle
For a week and a half, Dutch and Colombian marines trained side-by-side in a number of realistic and challenging training scenarios. The focus was on strengthening operational skills and intensifying cooperation between the two marine corps. The training exercises were conducted in the challenging riverine area and the jungle around the town of Turbo in northwest Colombia.
