Since last week, air defence and command frigate HNLMS De Ruyter has been housing a multinational staff in order to be well prepared for a possible mission in the Strait of Hormuz.

The marine detachment on Sint Maarten provided assistance during a large-scale search of the prison in Point Blanche on the island. The operation was aimed at locating contraband within the prison. During the search, drugs, blunt weapons and bladed weapons were found.
